I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful way that my horse, Arana, was cared for by Mike. He transported her from New York to Florida. Arana is a very special filly, and she is so close to my heart. It was unbearable to see her go for the winter, and Mike was so caring to both of us. It made it so much easier knowing she was in good hands. Please know I have thought about you all, and your great kindness many, many times. I love my beautiful, wonderful, Arana, as if she is my own child. What your business does, and how you care for these magnificent, intuitive, intelligent athletes is so very important. I truly appreciate it, so very much. Please let Mike know this. He made such a hard day so much easier for us, and especially for me by allowing me to see her by the truck. Arana got down and put her head next to me through the grate. We were able to say a proper good-bye. I cannot tell you how much this gesture from Mike meant.

Dear Brook Ledge,

I would like to convey my deepest gratitude toward your team for their outstanding service and care throughout the process of transporting my horse from Massachusetts to Texas. Being the first time for long-distance shipping for both myself and my horse, I was extremely nervous about the transportation and anxious about how my horse (who I treat like my baby) would fare.

Every person I was in touch with through the booking and shipping process paid the utmost attention to every little one of my worrying questions and even sent me a picture of my horse before he began his second leg after the layover in the Lexington facility!

The day of his arrival felt like Christmas morning! Both the dispatcher and the driver were in close contact with me and arrived perfectly on time. Unloading him from the trailer and getting him settled into his new place, I could see that he had been very well cared for and did not appear distressed at all from the trip.

I cannot express how much it meant to me that I felt like your team understood that my horse is my baby…and treated him as such! I will definitely be recommending you guys to anyone shipping their horse and, personally, will ship with Brooke Ledge again if I need to travel long-distance again!

I wanted to thank you and the rest of the Brook Ledge Staff on the great job that you all did hauling Doc. The truck and trailers were in excellent condition. All the drivers were very friendly and super knowledgeable about horses. Everyone kept me updated during Doc's entire trip. He was very happy when he arrived and did not even act like he had been on a long trip. Thanks again for hauling my precious cargo.

I wanted you to know how pleased we are with the service your company provided to us in moving our horse, Rocky, from Florida to Colorado. We don't have much experience in doing this and have heard all kinds of "horror" stories from our horse friends.

But, from the first correspondence with Leslie. to the final goodbye with the drivers (Ralph and partner), it was a great experience. I will admit that I started to get nervous when the pick up in FL seemed to be taking too long, but I am glad Rocky got to stay a few extra days in his familiar surroundings than on the road somewhere.

I really appreciated Leslie's knowledge of moving horses and telling me what I needed to know and what I needed to do. In addition it was a real comfort being able to email her every morning that Rocky was on the road and knowing where he was and where he was going next. I didn't really believe her when she first told me that trip would take 2-3 days, but she was exactly right.

You have a great bunch of people who do their job well. That doesn't happen by accident and I know personally that it takes a lot of hard work.

It is with sincerest appreciation that we send this letter of gratitude. Our two horses were being shipped from Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Quinton, Virginia. Leo and Murphy arrived healthy and sound and we are so grateful that these two members of our family were treated so well.

We especially want to acknowledge the work of Leslie Stevenson, Mark Brown and Turk Green as well as the many others who had their hand in transporting our geldings. We are aware that you transport the multi-million dollar horses but we are not a multi-million dollar family. Instead, we are an Army family who was relocating and your engagement with us, care for Leo and Murphy, and coordinating within our moving timeline, had us feeling like VIPs.

Prior to our relocation, my husband had recently returned from Afghanistan after a 9 month tour. He commanded a Battalion of Soldiers and brought every one of them home safe and sound. Just as we took care of our Soldiers and families, we appreciate the care you gave to our horse family. Thank you for holding us in the palm of your hands.

We anticipate several more relocations in the future and we look forward to relying on Brook Ledge. Thank you for making us feel like VIPs and for making your service affordable for people from all walks of life. Caring makes a difference!

Great job. I cannot express what a great experience we had shipping two mares from Washington State to Michigan. You were very professional in every since of the word. You performed exactly what you said you would do. Upon thier arrival, they arrived in excellent shape, just as if they just had a traveling vacation. I have hauled horses all over this country hauling many national and world champion show horses, but this service exceeded all expectations. To the great folks at Brook Ledge: we just returned from a wonderful week at Pony Finals. Our pony, Barahute, traveled from California to Kentucky with Brook Ledge. She arrived in great shape and was ready to compete. Her stable mates were much more tired after using other modes of transport (flying and personal trailer). I was very pleased with the updates that I received from the driver along the way. The main reason I am writing this note is to thank Shane (our California contact) and Mark Brown (in Lexington). We were overwhelmed by the size of Kentucky Horse Park and when we tried to reserve a cart from the KHP vendor, they were sold out. A quick call to Shane, who then called Mark, resulted in a cart being delivered by Mark within the hour. Wow. I was amazed and grateful for their commitment to customer service. I know that Brook Ledge will be my first call (and referral) if I need my pony shipped.

Just want to let you know your service was exceptional. The horse was p/u at the scheduled time and delivered @ the scheduled time. I couldn’t be happier with your company. I have used Brook Ledge to ship my 5 top hoses from Los Angeles to Wellington Florida and back home to LA.

I am so impressed with your staff…Shane contacted me way before my trip out and came to my stable…I had a chance to ask questions and talk about the trip so we had everything under control. He came in a very professional way, listened to what I had to say, came back with answers to my questions, and was very pleasant to deal with. The drivers that took my horses to Wellington did a great job and my horses looked great getting off the van. Jim came to the stable a day before my trip back to L.A. making sure all was under control, checked papers and again listen to what I had to say. Very professional!

The van came 15 min early, the wonderful, knowledgeable, professional couple Vance and Chrissy Berry drove my horses back to LA. The truck was spotless, shiny and all horses loaded perfect. When all 5 were in, not a sound came from a uncomfortable horse. They told me 20 hrs out what time I could expect them and on the mark they drove in! Luck? Shane and Bret were there to bring my horses back to my own stable and sure enough all went super. Shane had also kept me updated along the trip.

You should be so proud of your staff and I'm so thankful for your great company.

I know I did not get to meet the semi-truck drivers but if they are anything like Bret, you guys are so lucky. Bret was such a nice guy. Acted like he had known us all our lives. Kenny arrived bright eyed, bushy tailed and appeared like he had just make an hour drive let alone a 2880 mile coast to coast journey. Plus, he arrived 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time! That is a first for me to experience. Usually, you get a 4 hour window and they are always late. You guys will always be my first call for horse transport.

Doe Baby is doing great! You guys were the best transporters I have used. You need to get the word out that your prices are competitive with little shippers. I was intimidated by your website and your equipment and thought you would be sky high in price comparison. You were only slightly higher but you had state of the art equipment (air ride, stall and a half, etc.) compared to the other people I was considering.

While I have already phoned to voice my appreciation for the professional, caring, and (beyond) timely manner in which you picked up and, just this morning, delivered my mare, Machaira, from Florida to California, I wanted to write you a letter, as well. As horse-people know, cross-country treks are not easy, for man or equine, but your drivers made the journey with such expert efficiency that my infoal mare arrived safe and sound, unaffected by the trip, and with her notorious appetite intact.

Machaira is my girl. Her well-being is of paramount importance to me. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my 22 year old TB on his first ever cross country trip from Michigan to California! It took exactly 3 days. The drivers were phenomenal, even updating us on how much Romeo was eating, drinking, and pooping along the way (all important things worried moms want to know). While he was a little tired, he arrived very cool and comfortable, took a nice roll in the sand, and wanted to check out his new surroundings and friends. Brook Ledge was great on keeping me updated and calmed my nerves about sending my best friend so far away. Thank you for making this experience a lot less stressful than I thought it would be. You are amazing!
